Insigne’s agent meets Inter as Napoli struggle

Lorenzo Insigne’s agent met with Inter recently amidst Napoli’s failure to agree terms over a new deal with the Italian.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that Insigne’s agent Vincenzo Pisacane was at the Inter headquarters in a meeting that was described as ‘routine’ by the agent, largely because he also represents Danilo D’Ambrosio.

Napoli have offered a deal worth €4.6 million per on a five-year basis but they’ve not received a positive response at all. Signs have been negative from the player’s agent, who also demands a signing-on bonus in the deal.

Insigne’s deal runs out next summer and Inter have been interested in him since last summer, with Manchester United also said to be keeping tabs on him.
