At a press conference in Rome this evening, the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) unveiled their new logo.
“This new visual identity of the FIGC completes a process of renewal that was started three years ago and we look to the future by valuing our history,” said FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio. “The new logo makes the four stars of our World Cup victories more visible because they represent the pride of the whole country.”
Gli Azzurri are tied for the second most World Cup triumphs with Germany, trailing Brazil’s five.
