Allegri rejects Real Madrid advance

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Massimiliano Allegri has rejected an advance by Real Madrid.

After Zidane’s sudden departure last week, Los Blancos are actively searching for a new coach.

When Real Madrid contacted Allegri, the ex-Milan boss replied “no, thank you” out of loyalty to Juventus with whom he has already started preparing next season.

Gazzetta’s report mentions that Allegri already rejected advances from both Paris-Saint Germain and Arsenal earlier this year.

Allegri’s current contract with Juventus ends in 2020 but the tactician would be open to extending for another year or two before hopes of taking over the National Team after Roberto Mancini.
