Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam will return in mid-April, his surgeon, Professor Pier Paolo Mariani, has confirmed.
“This was absolutely not caused by a rushed return to training, because the two injuries are completely different,” Mariani told Le Buteur, referring to his recent ACL injury. “Ghoulam will return to competition with his club in mid-April.”
The 27-year-old had recently returned from a right-leg ACL injury, sustained while playing against Manchester City, back in November. He then fractured his kneecap on the same leg, while training.
