Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam underwent a successful surgery after fracturing his right kneecap in training on Friday.
The Algerian international had just recently returned to training after tearing his ACL against Manchester City on 1 November 2017.
Ghoulam has already begun his rehabilitation on Saturday and will be re-assessed in two weeks but is expected to resume training in around a month.
