Inter confirm Gagliardini injury

Inter have confirmed that midfielder, Roberto Gagliardini, has suffered a hamstring injury during the 4-0 victory over Cagliari, on Tuesday.

“The tests revelead damage to the player’s semimembranosus muscle in his right hamstring,” a statement on the club’s official website read.

No return date was provided, but the club said: “His condition will continue to be evaluated week by week.”

The incident occurred in the 37th minute, when Gagliardini stretched for the ball. He had to be stretchered off, and was replaced by Borja Valero.
