After qualifying for the Champions League group stage on the final day of the season, Inter are looking for reinforcements on the transfer market.
After speaking at a press conferenceย earlier today head coach Luciano Spaletti about the clubโs plans on the transfer market, Gianluca Di Marzioย confirmed Interโs interestย in two midfielders.
At the moment it is impossible for Inter to activate Rafinhaโs buyout clause, at least until June 30 when they need to meet their FFP requirements.
In case the Barcelona midfielder canโt be signed, Spalettiโsย first choice is Radja Nainggolan, who Roma value at no less than โฌ40 million. As the Belgian also earns โฌ5 million a season, this would be an expensive operation.
Whileย much depends on the will of Nainggolan, Spaletti insists and asks his sporting director, Piero Ausilio, to understand the possibility of signing Romaโs star midfielder.
The other name Di Marzioย mentions in his report is Nicolรฒ Barella of Cagliari.
This morning Ausilio met with Barellaโs agent to express Interโs interest in the 21-year-old Italian.
No negotiations have gotten started yet but Inter have their eyes set on two targets for Spaletti.
