While in negotiations with Sassuolo for Manuel Locatelli, AC Milan asked for Domenico Berardi, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
A loan swap with obligations to buy was proposed but Milan has doubts about that formula and would prefer to sign Berardi on loan with an option to buy.
While Locatelli is close to joining Sassuolo, bringing Berardi to Milan is far from done. The deal could be more likely if Suso was to leave this summer.
