Milan’s summer targets revealed

After securing qualification to the group stage of the Europa League, A.C. Milan are now focused on the summer mercato.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan’s main goals this summer are to give head coach Rino Gattuso upgrades in the midfield and the attack.

After making enquires for both Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Morata, both deals would be difficult to complete. The less complicated option would be Ciro Immobile, however, Lazio intends to keep the Italian striker. Nonetheless, Immobile remains the Rossoneri’s top target.

With Marouane Fellaini demanding 10 million in annual wages, a potential deal for the Belgian would be difficult. Instead, Milan’s main target for the midfield is currently Jordan Veretout of Fiorentina. The Frenchman had an excellent first season in Italy, and the economics of his transfer is expected to be within Milan’s range.
