Empoli have re-signed midfielder Matteo Brighi and striker Levan Mchedlidze, after their contracts expired in June.
Brighi, 37, joined Empoli on a six-month contract in January, this year. He made 14 appearances and scored once, as the Azzurri were crowned Serie B champions.
Mchedlidze, 28, has been with Empoli since 2008, and has made 151 appearances for the club, while registering 20 goals. The Georgian, however, spent the last season on the sidelines after a knee injury ruled him out for the season.
