AC Milan have announced that Ivan Gazidis will become the clubs new CEO beginning December 1, 2018.
After playing an integral role in the founding of Major League Soccer in America, Gazidis has spent the last decade as the CEO of Arsenal.
The 54-year-old will be responsible for leading Milan’s day-to-day football, business and commercial operations.
“I am very excited to take on this new challenge and will do everything I can to secure AC Milan’s return to the top,” Gazidis said regarding his new job. “I have a head start in this project thanks to the talented players, hard-working staff, and the sporting leadership of Leonardo De Araujo, Paolo Maldini and Gennaro Gattuso.”
