Roma have confirmed the signing of Steven N’Zonzi from Sevilla in a deal worth €26.65 million plus up to €4 million in potential bonuses.
The 29-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the Giallorossi and will wear the number 42.
“I feel very happy to be here, and to be a new Roma player,” Nzonzi said. “I always want to improve – regardless of age, the most important thing is to give your best and work hard. I want to do that, to become a better player and help the team with my play and experience.”
N’Zonzi played in five matches in Russia this summer as he won the World Cup with France.
