Lazio left-back Riza Durmisi has been sidelined for at least 30 days after suffering an elbow injury, during the Europa League match against Eintracht Frankfurt, on Thursday.
“Durmisi reported a dislocation to the elbow, that, as you can imagine, is something severe. The dislocation itself was reduced immediately and this limited the damage to what could happen,” Lazio’s medical director, Dr. Fabio Rodia, told the club’s channel. “The prognosis is 30 days. It could be worse for both the times and the potential period of inactivity of the athlete.”
The incident occurred in the 16th minute when Durmisi collided with opposition defender Danny da Costa and fell down, as his right arm twisted the wrong way. He was replaced by Senad Lulić.
