Ternana have let go of head coach Sandro Pochesci in the wake of the club’s 2-2 draw with Salernitana on Monday. The Umbrian side’s abysmal record this season (3-13-7) has them in the relegation zone with 22 points.
Pochesci failed to complete a full season at Ternana, having joined the club from Serie C outfit Racing Fondi in July 2017. Ternana’s long-term replacement is unknown, but Primavera coach Ferruccio Mariani is expected to take over in the interim role.
Ternana’s next match is away to Cesena on Sunday.
