AC Milan have been widely tipped as the next destination for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Sporting director Frederic Massara revealed that the club still have not received confirmation that the 38-year-old will be joining them.
“There aren’t any ongoing negotiations, there’s a moment of reflection by Ibrahimovic,” Massara told Sky Italia on Sunday. “The club is waiting so we don’t have any updates. There’s no point registering him straight away, because he hasn’t played for a few weeks and he would still need some time to find full fitness.
“He will be a great reinforcement for anyone, but from January and onwards.”
