Following Juventus’ victory over Atletico Madrid, Matthijs de Ligt was once again asked about choosing to join the Bianconeri rather than Barcelona following comments from Patrick Kluivert.
“When you arrive at a club as important as Juve, there is pressure, but I wouldn’t be here if I couldn’t handle it,” De Ligt told Sky Italia. “I had to adapt to a new system, but I am satisfied with the way things are going. I want to enjoy this moment, I am satisfied and very happy to be here.”
