de Ligt set to have release clause at Juve

Matthijs de Ligt is now just a step away from joining Juventus, according to Romeo Agresti.

Goal’s Juventus correspondent adds that the Dutch defender will have a €150 million release clause in his contract when he joins the Bianconeri.

Gianluca Di Marzio also confirmed that detail in his latest report, adding that the release clause would increase after his first season.

The Sky Sport reporter added that de Ligt has agreed a five-year contract worth €12 million a season, bonuses included. Ajax are now asking for at least €75 million, which is what PSG offered.

de Ligt’s future seems increasingly likely to be in Turin.
