After he was dropped by AS Roma boss Paulo Fonseca, Edin Dzeko has spoken out in support of his team-mate Alessandro Florenzi who has been the subject of transfer rumours over the past few weeks.
“He is our captain, even if in this moment he is not in the best situation,” the striker told reporters while on international duty with Bosnia. “However, he is a strong player who will certainly return to high levels and we must all respect the Coach’s decisions.”
