Everton’s Moise Kean sent off for Italy U21

Everton striker Moise Kean saw red in an ill-tempered affair between Italy and Republic of Ireland U21 sides on Thursday evening.

The 19-year-old was introduced as a substitute in the 46th minute of the match, and was shown a red card for a push to Troy Parrott’s chest. Parrott himself was shown a second yellow card for his part in the incident, leaving both sides unhappy with the action shown by the referee.

The match ended up in a 0-0 stalemate, and was much more notable for controversial incidents.
