Inter are set to meet with Mauro Icardiโs wife and agent Wanda Nara next week to discuss his contract situation, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
At the meeting, Inter are expected to express their interest in renewing the captainโs contract, which currently expires in 2021.
Inter believe their offer of a โฌ6.5 million salary plus bonuses is satisfactory but considering the interest for Icardi from Spain (presumably Real Madrid), Wanda does not think so.
Nonetheless, there remains a strong desire from both parties to find an agreement for a contract renewal.
