The FIGC Federal Council today announced their decision regarding Palermo’s professional status.
The Sicilian club will be forced to play in Serie D, the fourth division, due to “administrative non-compliance.”
Meanwhile, Venezia FC will be reinstated to Serie B despite losing the relegation playoff last month.
Palermo drop to amateur status while Venezia remain in Serie B.
