Piatek to Milan almost completed

The deal to bring Genoa striker Krzysztof Piątek to AC Milan is in the final stages, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Polish striker is expected to join the Rossoneri for €35 million plus bonuses.

A formal agreement between the clubs has not been confirmed yet but is expected to be on Monday after Genoa host Milan at the Stadio Ferraris.

Milan could also send Alen Halilović to Genoa as part of the deal.

Genoa signed Piątek just over seven months ago from Polish club Cracovia for €3.5 million plus bonuses.

Piątek exploded onto the Italian football scene scoring 19 goals in 21 matches (all competitions) so far this season.

With Higuain set to leave, Milan are ready to secure their replacement.
