Inter and Roma Europa League fixtures postponed

UEFA have announced this afternoon that the Europa League fixtures involving the two Serie A teams, due to take place Thursday evening, have been postponed. Roma were due to travel to Sevilla for the first leg of their last 16 tie, while Inter were to host Getafe.

The announcement explained that the decision was made as a result of travel restrictions imposed between Spain and Italy as of yesterday in an attempt to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. In Italy, the country is in complete lockdown since Monday and all domestic sporting events have been cancelled until April 3rd.
