Inter Director of Sport Ausilio on Nainggolan: “He wants to play, we’ll discuss the issue next week.”

Speaking ahead of Inter’s 2-1 win over Spezia this afternoon, Director of Sport Piero Ausilio discussed the potential moves involving the Nerazzuri in the upcoming transfer window.

His words transcribed in Corriere dello Sport, Ausilio discussed the situations of Radja Nainggolan, who appears to not have a place in Antonio Conte’s set-up at Inter, as well as rumours regarding the departure of Papu Gómez from Atalanta.

“There are two games left to do our best and bring home two victories. After that, we’ll evaluate the situation all together, but we’ve decided to discuss these issues regarding the window at the end of 2020.”

“We’ve spoken [with Nainggolan], apart from a few injuries he’s always worked hard, he’s an exemplary professional. He wants to play, we’ll discuss the issue next week, but we won’t make gifts to anyone. If we can make him happy, we will do so.”

“[On Papu Gómez] We’re staying out of these conversations which have nothing to do with us, although it’s clear that we appreciate the player.”
