Inter looking to bring in Leandro Paredes from PSG in swap deal for Eriksen

Multiple outlets including Corriere dello Sport and Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that Inter are looking into a potential swap deal with Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain, which would see Christian Eriksen and Leandro Paredes swtich clubs.

With the Danish midfielder set to leave less than a year after arriving in Italy, the Nerazzurri are looking for potential destinations for the midfielder in the coming window – with Mauricio Pochettino’s imminent arrival on the PSG bench an opportunity to reunite the pair who worked together at Spurs for six years.

Eriksen, whose placement on the transfer list was confirmed by CEO Beppe Marotta a few days ago, has struggled to settle in at Inter and has seemingly been frozen out of Antonio Conte’s plans this season, with the Danish international seeing limited playing time.

A swap deal would likely take the form of two loan deals in either direction, with the Inter hierarchy set to discuss the situation with Antonio Conte in the days to come.
