José Callejón undecided over whether to extend Napoli stay past June 30

Sky Sport Italia report today that Napoli forward José Callejón has still not decided on whether he will sign an extension with the club or leave for free on June 30. The Spaniard’s contract expires in just over a week, with an offer on the table to play the remainder of the club’s matches this Serie A season – a two-month extension.

The protocol currently in place for teams allows for loan deals with options or obligations to buy to be extended past June 30, with no such regulation for contracts expiring past this date.
