In an interview on air with Sky Sport Italia, Napoli Director of Sport Cristiano Giuntoli discussed the club’s potential transfer dealings ahead of the summer window, speaking firstly about the contract renewal of the club’s Belgian star.
“Dries has shown great affection for the shirt, we will soon be able to announce [the contract extension]. But for me he was never too far from Napoli. There’s always the fear that we lose him, just as there is with all great players.”
“Zieliński is also close to renewing, while we are still waiting for Callejón. He hasn’t decided yet, but after so many years here this is his home, and just as with Mertens there is a relationship of great peace.”
