Inter are expecting Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana to replace Samir Handanovic at the end of the current campaign.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have stated today that while Handanovic came under spotlight and scrutiny in Inter’s 2-2 draw against Atalanta, there is a feeling at the club that these performances can continue to happen. The club know that Handanovic can come up with goal saving moments for Inter and he can also cost them goals.
They are looking to live with these ups and downs but Inter have made the choice to replace the veteran with Onana. They are expected to sign him in the summer of 2022 and are in pole position to rope him in, unless some other club turns up with a better pre-contract offer before January.
