Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta are said to be close to sealing the deal for Sampdoria midfielder Morten Thorsby.
While Gianluca di Marzio reported about La Dea’s interest in the Samp star, La Gazzetta dello Sport today claim that the Bergamo club is now very close to sealing the move for the Scandinavian midfielder.
The fee in question is said to be €6 million and both clubs are close to striking an agreement for the player. It will be a permanent deal, after Thorsby was regularly linked with a move to the Premier League.
Di Marzio has stated that Thorsby’s versatility as a player impresses Gasperini and another meeting regarding the deal will take place today.
