Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is continuing to delay contract talks with the club, who are now willing to wait till the end of 2021 only.
This comes from La Gazzetta dello Sport today, who claim that Brozovic has postponed talks for a new deal once again. A meeting was supposedly to happen on Thursday but it didn’t happen and that is why there is no detailed negotiation or understanding about the situation yet.
Inter don’t even know how much the player wants and that is also causing issues. Inter continue to press for talks regarding a renewal, as they don’t have to have troubles in the future as Brozovic is seen as a key part of Simone Inzaghi’s project.
While the club is keen on the deal, they could change stance by the end of 2021. If Brozovic continues delaying talks, the Nerazzurri will abandon the line of secrecy and make things more public – similar to what Fiorentina did with Dusan Vlahovic.
