Buffon on Ronaldo’s Man Utd move and Juventus exit: “I don’t see anything illogical.”

Ex-Juventus and current Parma goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has talked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bianconeri exit and his move back to Manchester United.

Buffon was talking to Radio Rai recently and he was asked about a host of topics. He talked about Italy’s chances to win the World Cup and criticism for Ciro Immobile. He was also asked about Ronaldo and his Juve exit.

He stated: “I think the fans shouldn’t be surprised. He has the reputation of being a great professional who rightly thinks about himself a lot.  In these three years he has come up with great performances and many goals. I don’t see anything illogical about his choice to leave, he thought about it a lot.

At one point, Ronaldo seemed set to join Manchester City but Unitted trumped their rivals in their chase and brought the Portuguese back to Old Trafford.
