Former Chelsea and Inter boss Antonio Conte will have certain demands to be met, if he ends up joining Tottenham.
This comes from Gianluca di Marzio, who has reported that today is a decisive day at Tottenham because Nuno Santo’s future can be decided. And if the Portuguese is sacked, Spurs will press for Conte and the Italian is more likely to accept the offer from the English club this time around.
He would evaluate the move and while the move didn’t take place last summer, things are different now. To agree to join Spurs, he would have to be presented with an important technical and economical project and it up to Tottenham to convince him.
Spurs will have to put a multi-year contract on the table and will have to promise that they will make the team more competitive. Today could be a key day in this regard.
