Daniel Maldini could start for Milan against Spezia

Milan youngster Daniel Maldini could be set to start for the club in their Serie A clash against Spezia on Saturday.

Sky Italia claim that Stefano Pioli wants to keep the squad fit for the Champions League game against Atletico Madrid and as a result, he could rotate the side against Spezia. One of the players who could be rested is Brahim Diaz, who has done well in the recent games.

In place of him, Maldini could start in the attacking midfield role. He made five changes against Venezia and he can make five changes against Spezia too, with Olivier Giroud the current favourite to start over Ante Rebic. Theo Hernandez is also expected to start at left-back, after having been on the bench in the previous game.
