Former Fiorentina manager Paulo Sousa is a managerial option for Aston Villa, who got rid of Dean Smith recently.
Gianluigi Longari has reported that Sousa is one of the candidates for the Villa job as the Birmingham club assessed the former La Viola boss after having received positive reports from the job he’s done with the Polish national team.
The manner in which Robert Lewandowski has impressed for the national team under Sousa has been of particular interest for Villa, who have also been left happy by Poland’s performances against the bigger sides under the Portuguese.
