Former Milan and current Udinese man Gerard Deulofeu has described Gianluigi Donnarumma as a ‘monster’ when the goalkeeper was only 16 years old.
Deulofeu spoke to The Italian Football Podcast recently and while he spoke about a range of topics, the Spaniard also gave his views about Donnarumma and his development over the years.
The former Everton man stated: “Watching him in training when he was 16 and in the games when I was at Milan, I could tell straight away he was a monster.
“I have a lot of respect for him and it was a pleasure playing with him at Milan.”
Deulofeu had spent the second half of the 2016/17 season on loan at Milan and that was when Donnarumma had begun playing for the Rossoneri as a teenager.
