Inter abandon Thuram chase, Correa now the main target

Inter have now abandoned their chase of Marcus Thuram and they will now look to strike an agreement with Lazio for Joaquin Correa.

Gianluca di Marzio has stated that Thuram is injured for two months, after having been taken off in Borussia Monchengladbach’s game against Bayer Leverkusen. Because of this injury, Inter have abandoned their chase for the Frenchman.

Inter want Lazio to lower their demands to €30 million for Correa as the Nerazzurri believe that it represents the best value for the Argentine. If the value is higher than that, Inter will move on to other targets for the striker’s department.

It has been suggested that Everton also like Correa but the player only wants to join Inter and he’s keeping Everton waiting regarding his decision.
