Inter are now considering handing Simone Inzaghi a new deal and talks could even begin by the end of 2021.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Inzaghi’s work at Inter has impressed everyone, including the Inter management. Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio seem in agreement that the Italian is worthy of deserving a new deal and it will also bring stability to the club.
The idea is to wait till the end of the year and things are still going well by then, they will sit around the table in March to extend the contract till 2025, as his current deal runs out in the summer of 2023. The new salary could hit €6 million per season too.
Inter are said to be impressed by the Italian’s approach in not trying a revolution but going down the tried and tested path that Antonio Conte followed.
