Inter legend Beppe Bergomi has stated that two or three training sessions should be enough for Antonio Conte to make a positive impact at Tottenham.
Bergomi spoke to Sky Sport, ahead of Conte’s managerial debut for Spurs against Vitesse in the UEFA Conference League. The Nerazzurri legend stated: “How many training sessions has Conte conducted? Two, three? I expect something already tonight. He has to do well, he’s facing the underdogs and I’m curious to see it.”
Conte was allowed to be on the bench for Spurs tonight, after visa issues were sorted out. Spurs had lost the previous game to Vitesse away from home but they face the Dutch side in London today.
