Inter are yet to fully rule out the potential sale of defender Stefan de Vrij, amidst interest from Antonio Conte’s Tottenham.
This comes from La Gazzetta dello Sport today, who claim that while Inter have handed new deals to Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez, while having initiated talks for Federico diMarco and Marcelo Brozovic, the situations of De Vrij, Alexis Sanchez and Milan Skriniar could be different.
The issue with De Vrij is the age. While DiMarco, Martinez and Barella are younger, De Vrij is 29. And since he arrived from Lazio for free, he presents a chance for the club to earn a capital gain. Tottenham are mentioned as a potential suitor and a track that should not be forgotten. His contract runs out in the summer of 2023.
