InterSpac set to propose fan ownership to Inter: “This is our goal.”

InterSpac have confirmed that they are set to propose a fan ownership model to the Nerazzurri ownership soon.

The organisation, which promotes the idea of fan ownership at the Serie A champions, held an event in Milan recently and they clarified their stance on fans being shareholders in the club.

InterSpac founder Carlo Cottarelli spoke at the event and stated: “I want to thank the owners, who with their work brought Inter back to winning the championship and who have built a competitive team again this year. Our goal is to strengthen the company. We have almost chosen the consultant who will allow us to prepare the economic and governance plan. We plan to present the detailed proposal by the end of November.

“There are difficulties, but this is our goal. If there were to be interest from the club at that point, then we would move on to fundraising from fans and other entities. I already meet fans and they ask me where to put the money but this is not the time.”

The event was titled ‘If not now, then when?’ and Cottarelli also stated his belief around the fact that the fan ownership model can work and while they can come across difficulties, they will learn from them.
