Milan star Ismael Bennacer has talked about the Rossoneri’s 4-2 win over Bologna in Serie A on Saturday.
Milan went 2-0 up because of goals by Rafael Leao and Davide Calabria, but ten men Bologna made it 2-2 in the second half. Roberto Soriano was sent off to make sure that the Rossoblu were down to nine men. Bennacer made it 3-2 late in the game, followed by a goal from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
After the game, Bennacer spoke to DAZN and said: “If I shot ten times, I would score this goal only once. I didn’t think too much about it, I just pulled the trigger. I took it well, I scored a goal that counts and so I’m happy.”
On the team’s performance, the ex-Arsenal man said: “We started well, then we started badly. Then they picked up the second red. Their team is a good one, good for us that they were nine, but it is important to win ”
Milan, for now, are at the top of the league, with Napoli yet to play Roma on Sunday. The Rossoneri’s recent games in Serie A have involved loads of late drama.
