Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has stated that the Bianconeri squad is excellent and he’s happy with what he has.
The Old Lady picked up a 2-0 win over Bologna, thanks to goals from Alvaro Morata and Juan Cuadrado. The win took Juve upto sixth in the league, over Fiorentina, who have a game in hand.
Allegri spoke to DAZN after the game and talked about the club’s needs in the transfer window in January. He claimed: “The Juventus squad is excellent, we have to work with these players on self-esteem and mentality. We will work with them until June, now there is another match to win on Tuesday.
“In the last four games we have conceded only one goal, we have to also improve. I’m happy with this squad, we knew it was not easy to finish in the top four.”
Juve have been linked with Mauro Icardi and Anthony Martial and they are likely to look for a striker in the transfer window.
