Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has made it clear that the Bianconeri are a midtable team and they need to accept reality.
The Old Lady have now lost two games in just as many outings, as they lost to Verona after having lost at home to Sassuolo. They have already lost four games – as many as they did in the 2018/19 campaign under Allegri.
After the game, the Italian spoke to DAZN and stated: “Words are useless. There is work to be done. It is a bad situation in the standings. Only 15 points and we need to take responsibility. We need to accept reality: we are a mid-table team. With a different spirit, by winning more tackles, we will get out of it.”
Juve are now eighth in the league and they are 13 points behind league leading Napoli. They have won just four times – as many as Verona themselves.
