Juventus boss on Chelsea win: “Sailors always find the way out when they are in a storm.”

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has praised his side after the club’s 1-0 win over Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.

The Bianconeri picked up a 1-0 win over the Blues in Turin, as Federico Chiesa scored the only goal of the tie. The Old Lady got all three points, despite being without Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala.

After the win, Allegri spoke to Prime Video and he compared himself to a sailor taking the team out of a storm.

He said: “Usually sailors always find the way out when they are in a storm: tonight was a good match against the European champions.

“Technically we could have played better but we suffered a little and we missed a couple of counter-attacks. Two games, six points, zero goals conceded so another step towards qualification, a good step forward.”

Juve currently have all six points from a possible six in the Champions League and they now face Zenit in the next two games of the competition.
