Juventus set to focus on Scamacca in striker chase

Juventus are now set to focus on Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca in their chase for a striker in January.

La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Carlo Laudisa has stated that Juve have now backed away from other options for the strikers’ role. They explored the ideas of Anthony Martial, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexander Isak and have even given up on Mauro Icardi because of PSG’s demands.

But they are now fully focused on Scamacca, who is valued at €40 million by the Neroverdi. But Juve are positive that a deal similar to the one involving Manuel Locatelli can be thrashed out. Inter have held talks for the player in the past and Fiorentina have looked at him previously.

Juve are now prepared to focus on the Italian and slowly inch towards a potential deal.
