Lille star Renato Sanches has now emerged as a potential midfield option for Juventus, who are nowhere close to meeting Sassuolo’s asking price for Manuel Locatelli.
Sportmediaset have reported about Juventus’ attempts to bring new signings into their midfield, saying that the Bianconeri are now focusing more on signing Miralem Pjanic than Locatelli. Alternative midfield routes have been identified and while one of them is Tiemoue Bakayoko, another option is Sanches.
It has been stated that Jorge Mendes offered the player to Juve for a fee of a €35 million. But there are suggestions that the Old Lady could be given the chance to sign him for a much cheaper fee.
Contacts with Pjanic’s agents are continuing and it isn’t unlikely that they find an agreement with Barcelona soon. Sassuolo, meanwhile, are sticking to their asking price forLocatelli.
