Liverpool ready to intensify talks for Milan’s Kessie

Premier League giants Liverpool are reportedly ready to intensify talks in a move for Milan’s Franck Kessie.

Il Milanista have reported that while Tottenham and PSG are interested in the Ivorian, Liverpool also like the player. While Fabinho is seen as the regular defensive midfielder, Kessie is viewed by the Reds as a rotation option in that role.

Talks could intensify next week – when Milan face Liverpool in the Champions League group stages. Milan want to propose an exchange involving Thiago Alcantara and they view it as a potential deal which helps both the clubs.

There is still a difference in demand, when it comes to Kessie’s new deal. Milan have offered €6.5 million while the agents want €8 million right now. This gap seems difficult to bridge, the report states as the player’s deal expires next summer.
