Marcelo Brozovic’s potential Inter exit is ‘unlikely’ this summer

The likelihood of Marcelo Brozovic leaving Inter this summer has been described as ‘unlikely’ and the other possibilities seem more likely.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have talked about the future of Brozovic recently, claiming that the Croatian is a central part of the club’s project and while his contract runs out next summer, his potential new deal will now be discussed at the end of the transfer window.

Brozovic currently earns 3.5 million per season on his deal but his father-agent Ivan has been asking for a raise to 4.5 million per season. Inter are ready to discuss these terms as Simone Inzaghi values the midfielder quite a lot.

Two major possibilities now exist – Brozovic leaves for free next summer or signs a new deal, with a summer exit for a fee this summer now looking unlikely. That is because Brozovic carries a tactical importance and he has returned from his vacations with the right attitude. There seems to be optimism at both ends to get a deal done.
