Milan accelerate attempts for Lille star amidst Adli decision

Milan are now accelerating their attempts to sign Lille’s Renato Sanches and they will make a decision about Yacine Adli soon.

This is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, who state that while a deal with Lille for Sanches is difficult but negotiations are on. He is one of Milan’s top targets, as Stefano Pioli looks for more and better options in midfield.

Milan see Sanches as the right replacement for Franck Kessie as they now want to move on from the contract renewal disappointment involving the Ivorian. Ivan Gazidis will return to Milan on Thursday and he is already working on certain plans, including Pioli’s new deal announcement.

But with the January window close, Gazidis and Paolo Maldini are making plans and one of those is Sanches, who is valued at €35 million by Lille. But it isn’t just Sanches who could end up in Milan, as the Rossoneri could also review the loan agreement for Adli and bring him back in January.
