Milan are expected to announce a new deal for Stefano Pioli before their league game against Sassuolo.
This comes from La Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim that Ivan Gazidis will return to Milan from the United States on Thursday and he is expected to work with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara soon.
The new deal for Pioli has been in the air for quite some time but the club are now heading towards handing him a new two-year deal worth €3 million per season plus bonuses. The likes of Gazidis and Maldini are just waiting to finalise the last few details to announce it and the announcement can take place before the Sassuolo clash.
But Pioli’s extension is only said to be the beginning of a series of renewals, with Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer expected to be handed contracts too.
